Spring Equinox Meditation

The end of March brings the Spring Equinox - a time of balance. At this time days and night become equal length, with the days then becoming longer as all of nature moves into a time of growth and regeneration. The egg is a good symbol of equinox, an egg balanced on its end, filled with potential inside.

During this short 6 minute meditation you will use your breath to intentionally bring yourself back into balance; the perfect state for you to move forward into Spring and Summer.


Post Adjustment meditation

When you leave the studio after an adjustment, your nervous system will be shifted towards a healing state. Using this meditation between sessions will help you to tap back into that wonderful feeling of lightness and calm that you experience when you visit us.


Meditation for Imbolc

February 1st marks the Celtic season of Imbolc where our inner thoughts shift from reflection and intention setting to taking those first steps of action.

Enjoy this beautiful meditation as you envision yourself as the seed, planted deeply in the soil, sending those first tendrils up to the surface to emerge as a bulb in the winter sun. Filled with potential, you can reflect on where you are headed in 2024 and recognise negative stories or beliefs which may be holding you back.


Guide to enjoying a mindful moment

When you visit the practice in February, I invite you to choose a gift: a teabag or chocolate to enjoy mindfully at home. This is about you taking time to slow down during your day and allow your nervous system to drop into a parasympathetic (healing) state.

This 3 minute introduction helps you get into the right headspace to enjoy this exercise in mindfulness.


Seeing the bigger picture of your health

In healthcare today, we are used to taking a specific problem, symptom or body part and focussing on trying to "fix" that part. However, there are 2 main challenges with this type of thinking:

  1. Often there is more than one area of your body or health that you would like to restore at the same time.
  2. Every part of your body is connected to another, so by focussing on only one area, you may actually miss the source of the issue.

Meditation for Winter Solstice

December 22nd is Winter Solstice and the return of the Sun as days begin to lengthen. In Celtic tradition, this is a time for deep reflection as you gather all the wisdom you need for the goals and dreams you want to call forth in Spring.

Allow a little ritual into your life as you connect with ancient roots, and acknowledge the Winter Solstice in this 8 minute meditation. I recommend having a journal or notebook handy so you can reflect more deeply on what comes up.


Meditation to Expand Your Awareness

Inspired by the book "The Untethered Soul" by Michael A. Singer, this beautiful meditation invites you to step out of the busyness of our minds and into the practice of conscious awareness. In this 13 minute meditation, we practice expanding our awareness outside of our body all the way up into space!

This is a wonderful exercise for when you want to feel freedom from your thoughts and gives you a way to feel deeply connected with your body and the world around you.


Meditation to let go of the day

Every interaction you have throughout the day leaves an imprint on you, as you do on it. This meditation is designed to help you feel clear and calm at the end of the day. Often we find ourselves still carrying "stuff" from the day, including burdens which aren't ours to carry. We may also end up feeling very drained, as though life has taken all the energy we have from us.

During this 10 minute meditation you will visualise letting go of everything that no longer serves you, while drawing in all the energy you need for the day ahead. Lastly, we seal your energy field for a peaceful night's sleep and a great start to the following day.


3 Minute Reset Meditation

Get out of your head and feel calm, relaxed and grounded with this simple 3 minute mediation. After doing it a few times, you will be able to use the technique anytime, anywhere to quickly reset your body and mind into a calm state allowing you to release stress and think more clearly.


Meditation to help you sleep

Allow yourself to drift off to sleep with this beautiful meditation, inspired by a bulb being held safe and warm in the ground where it can be deeply nourished as everything else passes by above. Use this meditation when you are tucked up in bed to allow yourself to drift off into a restful sleep.


Deep Wintering Cocoon Meditation

Become embraced in a warm cocoon in this beautiful deep wintering meditation. Wrap yourself in your favourite blanket, and allow yourself to receive the nourishment you need for the months ahead.
